DESCRIPTION: Box elder bugs range from a gray to black color with red crisscrossing stripes on the wings. Nymphs will usually have bright red abdomens.

Box elder bugs will seek for warmth as the weather starts to cool in the fall seasons, they will seek walls where the sun directly hits which is usually south and west walls of buildings. These bugs get attracted to the warmth and will eventually find their way into cracks and crevices within the foundation of the building and walls which will eventually lead them to entering the home.

These pests can be a nuisance because they invade homes in fall seeking for warmth. These insects can be found resting on wall of your home where there is sun and warmth.
